The two variations are subtle, but it makes a big difference to the decal and how it looks on different surfaces - one works best as a light coloured vinyl decal on a window or dark surface, while the other works best as a dark coloured vinyl decal on a light surface. If applied to the wrong surface colour, it will have a 'negative' look similar to that of a negative photo reel...which just doesn't look right!

DARK surfaces include ANY window or darker coloured panel on your vehicle.

LIGHT surfaces include surfaces such as light coloured vehicle panels.
